Mrs. White's Fifth Grade Class

 *Homework is assigned on a nightly basis, Monday -Thursday and is to be completed neatly by the following morning. Fifth graders are expected to spend approximately 60 minutes on homework, which includes spending time reading an AR book. Students are responsible for copying their homework assignments into their planners each day, and I ask that a parent sign the planner each night. Students who come to school without completed homework will spend their recesses working until it is completed. Homework is not intended to be a punishment, but rather a way to reinforce the many standards we will cover in class each day. Show your child that you take it seriously and they will as well!
